Before HC was merged with SL we had an interesting contest at HC started by ArkPhaze.

It wasn't a competition but still I tried to compete with them and I was still in my learning phase during that time, oh well, I did pretty much. After some time people got bust and we didn't post much.

We had an HCDev Github Repo and I created a new repo for this and maintained it. You can find it here: https://github.com/HCDevelopers/ProjectEuler-Solutions

A competition more like this would be appealing to others rather than points being given for group of problems.

I will not post solutions to the problems but I will post screenshots showing that I have solved them, the entire point is that other people have to learn themselves.

I'd never post solutions for the very hard problems as that goes against the entire point of Euler.

No one cares about the answer. It's all about the method. Coming up with and sharing creative solutions is the whole point.

Which is exactly why posting the answer is stupid, if people want to discuss solutions without straight up giving it away that's fine, for example I'm happy telling people that to solve problem 495 you can split the number into its prime factors and then use combinatorics of distinct objects (You can google stuff like that and read up).

The issue I have is that if you can't solve the problem by yourself you can't solve the problem and you shouldn't try, you should go back and solve some easier problems and learn in order to get better.
