It looks like PIA has been bought by a company which was being run by an ex-Isreali spy, the previous company name was Crossrider but after a management overhaul they changed it to Kape, Crossrider/Kape has been known for questionable business ethics, some of you may remember the CrossRider adware which popped back into the news in August for causing unwanted behaviour on Mac's.

I do however like how the top post on the ycombinator post is from the Co Founder of PIA ... seems a little suspect. PIA's debts of $32.1 million will also be paid off through this acquisition, stay safe out there brothers & sisters. Kape also acquired CyberGhost (Year before last) & Zenmate (Last year)

It'll be Interesting to see If any changes will be made and If so, how they'll effect the service as a whole.

Never had much preference towards PIA, but I am familiar with Kape Technologies as a parent and their role in Crossrider.

I was not however aware of the fact that Kape also owned Cyberghost and Zenmate. So I suppose you can use their operation principles to judge the future of PIA.
