Power Supply for Multiple Graphics Cards #1
So I'm planning on investing in or building a mining rig sometime soon. I'm wondering if your average power supply has the proper connectors for 2 or more PCI express x16 cards. More specifically, can this one do it :

If you though about mining bitcoins, I would more recommend ASIC miners, as the difficulty for BitCoins is sky high and you may have some problems to get a good hash rate with GPUs.

If you decide to mine with your GPU, I recommend looking in to altcoins.
The power supply cables should not be a problem as you can buy splitters for the cables. The wattage may be a problem though if you will be running multiple GPUs at once and keep them running on 100%, you will put stress on the PSU.

for gpu mine litecoins or dogecoins only, don't try to mine btc with gpu. Yet this is not the topic of this thread, for PSU I can't really recommend anything because I'm a hardware newbie xD

To answer your question since these guys are going on about mining, I don't think that one can because from the looks of the features, it only has one PCI-E six pin connector. I think you would have to pick up a semi/fully modular power supply so you can have multiple connectors. Though don't take just my word on it, I suggest waiting for some more input before making a decision. Also, I am not quite sure 600W will cut it unless you are using weak GPUs like 2 GTX 750 Tis, just a little side note.

How does power supply to the cards actually work? PSU-> mobo-> card or PSU->card? If PSU to card, what cables are needed? Why is a modular PSU better?

How power works for graphics cards:
When it comes to GPUs, most modern graphics cards have a spot on them where you have to plug in a PCI-E PSU cable. In my GTX 780 Ti's case, I have to plug in 2 PCI-E cables. Some cards (very rare in modern cards) such as the GTX 750 don't actually require you to plug in a a connector, and the power actually just comes from the PCI-E slot.

Why a modular PSU is better:
Because with a modular, you can plug in the cables you need, with a regular PSU you have a cluster of cables that sometimes aren't even needed, but with a modular, you plug in the cables yourself so you can plug in only what you need, so if you need more PCI-E cables you can add that.
