I do not own any pets YET. I will soon get a cat that is if my mom lets me! She says cat gives you diseases

If you buy your cat from a proper breeder and not a pet store, you can get a healthy cat without any diseases that could transfer to humans and hurt your family.

If you are to convince her that having a cat isn't too much work or a struggle for health care, give her a cat facts book. Or watch Cats 101 with her.
