Even though its a sad reality, society stereotypes and guides the sexes from the very begging... take for example, giving girls play kitchens. Who says that girls should go into the kitchen. Society does. And, unfortunately, having gay people show affection in public will only distort even more the diction accepted by society.

That's called ignorance. Women have lead successful careers in many areas besides staying at home. And I could name a few chicks that could beat all of our asses.

I'm sure enough about my own sexuality. I'm straight. Though for me it doesn't really matter. I could make out with a guy without feeling disgusted, but I wouldn't be attracted to him. I don't find it normal to behave "defensive" around guys just because you're trying to prove that you're not gay.

I'm a lesbian, it's not really a big deal. I kiss my girlfriend in public and sometimes we get dirty looks but generally even if people are uncomfortable with it at least they aren't assholes about it.
