It was very hard and you get mentally destroyed.
I was 13 when i began and my weight was about 50 KG. I fighted with guys that were 16 and learned from them alot.
What i recommend is visiting some gyms and see what they do if you really want to get into fighting.

And about the bullying i shall say that fighting is not the solution for such things. Talk with some teachers about it and let your parents know.

i am learning muay thai too!!

1) the most important thing before you start all this you need to build your fitness first,
take your time on this,
2) start to build your muscle (need much of protein and vitamins), this will take around 2 years for beginner...
3) learn martial art - your can do this while you build your muscle..
4) maintain...

in your case i think for the best way is talk to your parent and make a police report... Wink

I'm one of the highest educated coaches in wrestling in my country, and i will not recommend you to use violence. Talk to a teacher and they will take care of it. But if you want to become stronger talk with a gym and get a personal coach, he will be able to give you the right training. Because i have seen so many boys/teenagers who have destroyed and ruined their training because they do not know how to gain muscles and train well.

If you want to learn a fighting sport try a few different out and use the one you find most useful/ comfitable with. For example wrestling will not be a good choice if the one you want to deal with are so much bigger than you. Take a look at some judo, jujitzu or MMA. This was just a few examples. BUT I WILL NOT RECOMMEND YOU TO TAKE VIOLENCE INTO THIS!. Talk with a teacher or an adult and they should take care of it.

Get in to a gang Biggrin I had some tough friends, so it never was a problem. I'm 18 now, and my weight is only 65kg. No, I am not weak. It doesn't really matter, all you have to do is to get rid of this fear. Always be ready and stay confident.

P.S. I've never got into a fight actually, just looking forward to it Biggrin Just another way to spend some quality time.

You could start working out to gain some strength/learn some fighting styles. The problem with this is it takes time, and you would rather results quickly rather than later.

Don't underestimate your strength. Everyone is A LOT stronger than they actually think.

Talking to a teacher may be a bad idea. That may only irritate the bullies and make the situation worse.

A extremely effective method is completely ignoring the situation.

If all else fails, and I'm not quite sure of the severity of the attacks. But myself, am a fan of weapons.
Group of guys come up to you, and you pull out a blade, there probably not going to want to fuck with you.
Although, I think that is actually illegal (carrying of blades/knives) but I am a firm believer in self defense.
