Planet Fitness vs LA Fitness #1
I've been really lazy lately. By lazy, I mean REALLY lazy. I want to start working out at an actual gym. For those of you that have experience, are they decent? A small gym is being built in my house but I'd rather work out with the general public. It feels less awkward doing so. There's a Planet Fitness and then there's LA Fitness I'm considering. Looking for feedback from each gym. PF is $10 a month, LAF is $30 a month. Thanks.

Well, depends what you want to do? Cardio workout or want to go to gain muscle or maybe lose fat? Please state reason for going to gym.

With the two you said I have not gone to them but I do go to another one. But then again you need to know what to do.

If you wish I can help you design a specific workout but I need to know what you want first. I'm studying Btec Sports Diploma. Next year I will be doing coaching so if you need help PM me.

Gain muscle. Extremely thin (considering my age - 18).

Well you need to gain fat first so you can turn that fat into muscle. You can't make muscle out of nothing. Its like making house without bricks.

But erm then I would recommend one with like just weights or mainly weights. I don't know witch one has what but ye gain fat and turn it into muscle,

**This does not mean go eat McDonald's for a year as you most likely will die of a heart attack.**

Eat good and you will burn it by turning it into muscle.

But I have an extremely fast metabolism. I burn everything off quickly, it's like I don't eat. I do eat quite a bit, but there's no noticeable "fat"

Hmm well try going to gym with set workout for a week or two, if you don't see any improvement then you might need protein shakes.

How is it LESS awkward to work out in public?

Anyway, I have a black card membership at planet fitness. It's a great facility.
Don't talk about it, be about it.
