"Everything happens for a reason" - because that's so not true. What can be a possible reason for, for example, a three year old kid dying of cancer? Or for a woman becoming a widow a day after her wedding? And more importantly, is that phrase seriously supposed to make anybody feel better? Because it's not working. I won't just accept that there are supposedly some reasons for all bad things happening and that it's supposed to make it all right.
