I believe you can close them.

You certainly can close a PayPal account. The setting Is In fact In your Account Options, accordingly named "Close your account".  This Is on the grounds that there are no unresolved Issues, nor any pending/outstanding funds.

Given It's Irreversible, be sure you're absolutely certain with your decision. In answer to the OP's concern and as already mentioned, start fresh with a new account.

I also had my PayPal account since I was 16, obviously with a fake DOB. When I turned 18 I just got a new one because I didn't want trouble with the old one. I got a verified PayPal account from Bestaccounts and I've been using it ever since. Now with all this madness going on in the world, it's very convenient to make all my transactions with it. Well, my advice to you, get another account and don't look for problems with the old one. It will be more secure and you won't have to worry about anything.

Not sure if this is the right thread to post this in so sorry if it is incorrect.

I have been using my paypal for a while before I was 18 so I have used a fake DOB. My account is not verified with ID because obviously my DOB would not be correct. I am 18 now so I was wondering if I should just make a new paypal account which is legitimate and forget about my old one? I do not want to be in a position where I am trying to withdraw money and they ask for ID verification.

Anyone got any advice? Cheers

If you make a new account, I suggest getting fake HQ papers from secondeyesolution, expensive but very good. That way there's a very low chance of your account being limited

Don't.

You'd need to link your bank account/merchant to verify transactions, of which a mismatch would be Instantly Identified. Even If It can be circumvented (which I know how), the legal Implications of falsifying documents can be quite serious.

The problem at hand is a big problem, I work as an FREELANCE and all my payments go to my paypal, so what I recommend is that you create a new account with your legal information and a different email and send the money you have to that account, I see it as the most logical solution because paypal can close it if you want
