If you're going to drastically change a controller, then you should make it better. Ugh. I do not like this concept at all. If it were a touchpad/display (like nintendo :O) then it might have some redeemable qualities, but as it stands I am NOT digging this one bit......grumble grumble.

The black metallic strip is an LCD screen, to display items on... Does that float your boat? Also this controller was confirmed in the press conference; just to clear that up.
