PC is the best, as it can do virtually anything giving the right amount of utilities(RAM, Processing Power, Power Supply, Fast HDD/SSD, Fast OS, etc.)

Console. (Oh boy, looks like I am out-numbered here.) Personally I prefer consoles because they are more social, they take less space and are 99% of the time as capable to run games as PCs are. (Not to mention that PC are about 5 times as expensive. Which I see as a waste of money.)

A gaming-rig should be upgraded at least every 3 years, a console is upgraded every 7 years. Even if the PC costs the same, you'll have to buy it twice over the same period you'd have one console. Also, the amount of games doesn't really matter, the exclusives does.
