Professional Review:
It's not often that we do three unique reviews for one game across multiple platforms. But given the length of time between the original PS2 release and the subsequent Xbox and PC releases, we felt it important to give it a second look. On top of that, PC gamers may have some expectations that may be a little different than console gamers so we decided to differentiate those as well. What we found after playing the game for so long is that it's still an excellent game on the PC. It looks better than the other two versions and has better combat controls while suffering only slightly in the driving department with the mouse and keyboard. It's an expansive, awesome, well produced and put together game with a ton of different missions of all sorts. While it has its problems, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is a very entertaining game with hours and hours of fun for those who both want to rip right through the story or explore the gigantic environment. A Personal Review By: HaZe:
I just want to start of by saying that this game, GTA San Andreas is one of the best games I have every played. I've played it in 2 different versions, for PS2 and for PC. Although, it might seem easier and better to play on the PS2, the PC version is just as good, and not a bad idea to buy. GTA San Andreas has been rated one of the best for the PS2 Gaming Console. The story basically starts of in 1992 in an airport that the main character, Carl Johnson or "CJ" has just came back from another place. He meets up with some local cops, only to find out that his mother had been murdered while he was gone. CJ is furious with the news and instantly wants to find his mother's killers and kill them himself. It will take a lot of courage and friends for CJ to help find the evil cold-blooded killers. CJ must fight enemies, gain gang territories, lose territories, meet girlfriends, lost girlfriends, kill drug dealers, go to the gym, anything to take over the streets and find his mother's killers in order to get his revenge.

What I really loved about this game was the realistic themes. For example, the muscularity, fat, hunger, sex appeal, etc. Like for example if you get hungry, then you get weaker and weaker until you actually go eat something. You can go to the gym to buff yourself up more and more, in order to gain strength. The graphics in the game are also not horrible nor to excellent, but they certainly improved from the GTA Vice City game, also by Rockstar. The variety of clothes and guns are endless. You can buy clothes from stores such as Binco, get guns from gang members, or get haircuts and tattoos from local stores, all for very small fees.

Some dislikes are the major violence. Since the game is Rated M and over, I do not suggest you play this in front of anyone under 16. The gore and violence is very intense and realistic. There is plenty of foul language used daily. I've also had the game freeze a couple of times, depending on your computer. You have to take good care of the disc, or it will get scratched.

Graphics: The graphics have certainly improved than those of GTA Vice City, although sometimes you can catch some problems and glitches. So the Graphics gets 7/10.

Playability: The game isn't really that difficult if you can concentrate and read the directions or listen to them for each mission. If the game freezes then I suggest to check your disc or your computer speed. Playability gets a 8/10.

Difficulty: As stated above, if you can read and listen and follow to directions the game should be basically easy to pass. The only thing that stands in your way are the cops, which may arrest you, bust you, and take your guns and some of your money away. Difficulty gets a 6/10

Story: I especially love the story and setting. 1992 seems to be a good time to have this game's time setting in. You can tell that it's kind of old by the cars, cellphones, clothes that CJ uses during game play. The theme of also getting revenge for his mother may seem cruel, but is fair. "What goes around comes back."

Overall Rating: 7/10
