P2P Rat/botnet feedback #1
hey everyone, i'm new to the forum. I've been thinking about flaws that botnets have, and the main one in my opinion is that it requires a server constantly running, and if that server is shutdown you can't control the bots anymore.
Now I'm very new to this and have been researching in my free time just for fun, and I thought why not try to create a botnet that doesn't require a server? So i thought I would research into p2p protocols, as they are decentralised and anonymous, but I don't know if it would actually be useful or not, so i wanted to post it here.
What do you think about the idea? I'd be glad to work on this project if people found this useful.

Nice one, the good old ZeuS/Zbot malware.

I remember performing a memory acquisition/dump (In my malware lab) many years ago and after analyzing the dump file, there were some pretty Interesting findings.
