Animal rights activists are usually doing batshit insane things like this all the time. So I'm not surprised by what they did, it's more so how they did it. How did they manage to leak the names and addresses of 110K gun owners?

The reason for owning guns is not mainly for "hunting," but for protection. Strange why an animal rights group wanted to do this. All the more reason to not have a centralized database of gun ownership. Their government is at fault for this entirely.
