"What do you desire? Money? Glory? Power? Revenge? Or something that surpasses all other? Whatever you desire — "

"That is here."

What is it?

If any of you keep up with Naver and manhwa/webcomics, you may of heard of the series called Tower of God, created by Lee Jong-hui aka SIU. Unlike traditional manga, the webcomic is formatted so that you read left to right, and all pages per chapter are on one webpage so that you can scroll down with easy access. The genre is an action-adventure, mystery-fantasy one, and is currently being updated every week or so (except during the time of this post, as SIU has fallen ill and recovering at the moment). As of right now, there are 110 chapters and counting.

What's it about?

Tower of God is currently split into two parts, or seasons; the first season introduces the boy named Twenty-Fifth Baam, who enters a mysterious tower chasing after his first friend, Rachel. Along the way, he is tested physically, mentally, and spiritually as he hones his abilities, making friends, allies and enemies along the way. Each "floor" of the tower is about the size of an entire continent, and Baam must ascend the challenges along the way that each floor presents.

The second season takes place five years afterwards; Baam takes up a new identity under the name Jyu Viole Grace against his will under orders of the secret organization FUG. He must uncover the mystery of a certain person's betrayal to him, all the while trying to keep his friends safe as they are taken hostage from his keepers.

Where can I read it?

You can read it officially from Naver here (though they're absurdly slow in translating), or you can read it on Batoto here.

The author finally came back from hiatus, so now's the time to catch up with his recent chapters!

Oh boy, I love this series! Team Tangsuyuk is the best name for a team west of Team Chahan. Also MiS, would you mind if I attempted one of these otaku threads? I like your style and I like your grace, but this Kong's (me) got a funny face.

Sadly, you can't use the [Otaku] tag without being a part of the Otaku group, but feel free to make an informational thread like this, regardless! If you do threads like these, as soon as you qualify and meet the requirements for the group, you'll have a better chance of getting in.

This sounds really good. I'm going to start reading this very soon. How easy is it read? Could I read it all in about a day?

It's extremely engrossing, you really won't want to stop after the first chapter, in my opinion. It placry you right in the middle of the action of the protagonist and you know as much of the story and background as him.

It's format makes it easy to read too. Batoto took it down sadly, but I suggest Kissmanga.

MangaFox or MangaReader are the two sites I use because I find their translations always make much more sense to me than other alternatives.

Batoto is almost always best for official scanlations, and they support the scanlators. If it's not available on there, I turn to third party sites. Kissmanga I'd preferable to me because one chapter is available per page, and you can scroll through all of them with relative ease.
