Shinsekai Yori: Summary, and rating [10/10] #1
Shinsekai Yori/From the New World

I have one thing to say before I begin:
Holy shit this was amazing, I now have a favorite anime.
Thank you @CC.py for getting me interested in it

The MAL summary doesn't do it justice, so I'm gonna have to give it a try:
This takes place in the future, when seemingly everyone has the power to control matter with their mind.  Saki (the MC) awakens her powers, and joins her friends at the next stage of school.  Eventually, they start questioning things about how the school and town work.  Years later, she gets the answers to her questions.  She watches as things go awry, and struggles to get more answers as she discovers that her world is not what she thought it was.

As of now, that's about as good as I can do for an anime summary.  I'm more used to summarizing books or scientific papers.
Regardless of the quality of mine or MAL's summaries, go and watch this, you will not regret it.  Doesn't matter what genres you prefer, this is universal.
Note: It gets weird, watch through it

My rating: 10/10

A very short philosophical question to those who watched it:
Spoiler: Not really a spoiler but whatever
Is Squealer bad?

If you want any advice about writing summaries (not that I'm amazing at it either), almost the entirety of you're summary was far too vague. Not saying that you should go into details because spoilers, but it's hard to get what the anime is about from just your summary.
Aside from that I 100% agree, it's an amazing show.

Edit: You totally stole the question that I asked you that you didn't answer Tongue

I was aiming to avoid spoilers. But yeah, I guess I should be more detailed.

I keep meaning to watch this dang it. I'm pretty sure it's on my list on kitsu.io. But I always forget about it off the top of my head. It does look good. Or at least, the art style is pretty.

Seen it. It's pretty good and fairly underrated as a show. Biggrin

Thank you for the honest review; Where would you recommend me to watch this? (Some sites might have a 1080p version, subbed)
