I've heard of this one and some one mentioned to me it was a tear jerker. What's the premise of it?

Many years ago we did a watch party for the SL Otaku group members... We went in thinking it was a sweet kids shows and my goodness. I've never heard so many men try to hold back tears in my life xD

Oh that's a really good one! It's been a minute since I watched it. I thought it was just going to be a slice of life style show but it was pretty deep.

I went into watching Grave of the Fireflies thinking it would be a cute kids film as it's from Ghibli. I could not have been more wrong. We could have replenished deserts with the amount of tears I cried from that show.

Surprisingly I cant remember any time I've cried from an anime. Might be because I haven't watched enough or haven't watched ones from the right genre. I'll be looking around here for good anime recommendations that could get me to tear up. Smile

Truthfully, most of the ones mentioned on this thread are pretty good. I don't know what genres you normally watch, but there tends to be tearjerkers in most genres. Whilst I don't go looking for shows that will make me cry, a lot of them are really good stories.
