Hatsune Miku Goes Post-Apocalyptic for Magical Mirai Event #1
Check this video out of Hatsune Miku. I think she looks kinda good post-apocalyptic!
Code:
Japan's most iconic virtual idol has joined the world of Mad Max in the "Dune" music video for "Suna no Wakusei" (Planet of Sand) the theme song for the Magical Mirai 2017 event. Miku appears to be the idol of apocalypse, backed by a posse of skull-wearing supporters.

The animation instantly reminded me of Sunabouzu (Desert Punk). Biggrin

I really like the animation style, and the fact that this is such a drastic change from Miku's usual environment.

Also, the instrumental reminded me of this from years ago:
It's often the outcasts, the iconoclasts ... those who have the least to lose because they
don't have much in the first place, who feel the new currents and ride them the farthest.

Yeah this is...different to say the least. Not necessarily bad, just kinda odd to me.

I'm not really a big miku fan for the music, but it was kinda interesting. I'm usually more into the "art" and "visual" side of this stuff. It's definitely strange.

Eh... I've heard better vocaloid songs.

It's not terrible, but not great...

I'm not sure I like vocaloid that much to be fair. Are there songs that are supposedly pretty good? I wouldn't mind listening around since my exposure to vocaloid hasn't been much.

Eh, depends on your tastes.

Here's a few, divided into sections that I can't define:

Each section is quite different from the previous, as there is quite a bit of variety in vocaloid songs.
