What is it?

Guns Girl School DayZ is a free to play zombie side-scrolling action-arcade style mobile game by Finger tips and Mihoyo, that came out very recently (about two weeks ago from this post date). The game itself is straightforward - kill as many zombies as you can while surviving - but the means of customizing your loadout is really vast. There's over 160 weapons, armor and skills at the moment, ranging from snipers, pistols, RPGs, mines and deployable turrets, to axes, swords, scissors, leeks and more. And it's still expanding! The devs, at this date, plan on releasing JP voice acting and cooperative mode very soon.

What do you do?

You play as Kiana Kaslana, a descendant of the Kaslana Clan tasked with destroying the source of the Apocalypse, which causes all of your schoolmates to "zombify" and wreck havoc. Among the central figures you encounter are Raiden Mei, a demonic classmate corrupted by the Source of the Apocalypse, Snowfox, a mysterious animalistic entity, and an enigmatic girl known as Bronya.

Besides the main story, there's many other things you can do, especially in customization and events. There are daily and weekday dungeons for EXP and evolution items, and biweekly event dungeons for receiving rare, limited edition equips. There's also a survival mode, where you can challenge your friends to score high and reach the farthest levels of the tower.

The beginning stages are tutorial and pretty easy, but the game really starts to pick up when you encounter the first main boss, Mei.

Yep, the old voice actors were Chinese. If you're using an Android, you're in luck because the update is currently only available to them.
