With Yoko Kanno and Watanabe, I'm hopeful but pessimistic. Watanabe was busy with Carole & Tuesday a few years ago, but supposedly he was a consultant on the live action. Even if it's terrible 20 years later, I'm sure it will be amusing.

Keanu normally plays the pacifist, so I don't think he'd be as good as Vincent or Vicious. He definitely has the beard, though. Matrix, John Wick, and even Cyberpunk have the same sort of antihero. Saw Nobody recently and it followed the same formula (Something Stolen > Mafia > Revenge).

Happy to see classic animes are getting recognised and remastered. Love Keanu Reeves, can wait for its release.
