Welcome to my third review! This review will be on the anime called Kill la Kill! This anime just finished airing today at a grand total of 24 episodes. As with any review, I'd just like for you guys to know this is completely based on my opinions, and this review will not in anyway reflect what you think of the show
Synopsis
"In a high school where students possess uniforms that give them various powers and abilities, student council president Kiryuuin Satsuki rules by force. However, a transfer student named Matoi Ryuuko stands in her way, wielding a scissor sword and a superpowered school uniform."

Plot
The plot to Kill la Kill was very good and consistant all the way through the series. I enjoyed the whole revenge plot that morphed into something a bit different but still kept it's primary purpose of avenging her father. The way the plot was potrayed also worked extremely well. Also, something all anime should have is a few good plot twists, and honestly, the plot twists were pulled off perfectly. There were some extremely minor plot holes here and there that kind of ruined that particular spot, but it was a really well done plot. The ending to the series was well done, and if the creators really wanted to another season could be made, but the plot to it probably wouldn't be very great. Overall though, I give Kill la Kill's plot a straight 9.5/10. Very well done plot and overall I enjoyed it quite a bit.
Characters
I liked most of the characters in this series, which is hard to say for a more than a few anime out there. Some of the characters in this show really annoyed me (probably just me though because it seems like other fans like these particular characters) but most of the characters in the series weren't a nuissance to have around. Here and there though, even some of the more important characters really bugged me, even so I'd say I liked 90% of the characters in the show. In total, the characters in Kill la Kill score an 8.5/10. I enjoyed most of them, but some of them just really annoyed me to the extent of me completely hating them.
Action
The action in this show was extremely well done, and I could sit down and rewatch a lot of the fights in Kill la Kill. The fighting was very fluid, and there was never really any plot armor. When there was a fight that the main character couldn't win, they would lose, and they wouldn't gain some ridiculous plot armor to save them. Kill la Kill gets a solid 10/10 from me, as there isn't really anything bad to say about the action in it.
Audio
I liked all of the OSTs in this anime. I have quite a few of these downloaded and I can listen to them all the time. The odd time there would be an OST that wouldn't really fit at a certain spot, but the audio itself is great. As for the voices in this show, the voice acting in it was perfect, but most of the primary characters that you heard the most did have decent voice actors that made it sound like the character was actually feeling emotion, and not just being a bland voice the entire time. Kill la Kill's audio gets an 8/10 for me. It lost a point as some of the OSTs didn't fit in certain places and it kind of ruined the mood, and then it lost another due to the crummy voices for some of the side characters.
Animation
At a first glance, the animation done in Kill la Kill looks pretty horrid and done on a low budget, but as you watch the show the style begins to grow on you. I really liked the animation in this show and for me it was great. At certain spots the animation didn't meet the expectations that had been set by previous scenes, but it was still great overall. Animation for me gets a straight 8/10.
Final Thoughts
For my final thoughts on this series, I'd just like to express how much I enjoyed waiting week to week for a new episode to come out. This is the first time I have ever caught an airing anime as I ususally just watch completed ones, and I can say getting home from school every Thursday and watching the new episode was really exciting for me. To try and keep this short and sweet, all in all this anime gets 9/10 from me. Coming into this, I didn't have very high expectations, but after a few episodes I really started loving Kill la Kill. Anyways, hope you enjoyed my third review, and hopefully you enjoy the anime if you do watch it!
