Good day to you all.
It has come to my attention that long-distance relationships are a waste of time, or /never/ work. Well, what I'd like to know (seeing as I am becoming rather close with someone across the world) is whether it is worth it/not worth it. I'm asking for things like experiences with them, opinions etc. Cheers y'all <33333

I strongly disagree with this statement~

I'm not big on relationships period so it's probably obvious, but I think long-distance relationships are pointless and foolish among other things.

This is probably true for majority of people. There's really no other reason. If you need someone to spend time with, you have friends. If you want sex, you get in a relationship.

Okay so take sex away and what are you left with? a friend. maybe a housemate you split the bills with. but thats only if you're not in a long distance relationship.

Whether you agree with it or not - sex and procreation are the primary reasons for the type of relationship you are talking about. If theres none of that, then she's just a friend.
