I believe SL should provide an Onion link, for the safety of users' anonymity.
Yes, I understand if there is IP locks to certain regions on your account, but for users who are privacy fiends, they could access the website via the Onion link, for the safety of the user upon any breach, whether it be a hacker or the government.
Not force a user to access via the Onion link, if they choose to access via sinister.ly, as for account security/recovery safety.

lmao are you gonna go back to being an /b/-tier shitposter?

But I actually do believe this has been brought up before and it was denied. Oni has stated that he would allow exceptions when it came to VPN but that is a specific server. There were some other things he mentioned about it regarding .onion links and to why they wouldn't do that. Not to mention, its obviously not that big of a deal to you @Lipa as you're online now!

RE: .Onion Link #3
While it would be easy to set it up, there is a big problem...
If a user connects to a tor hidden service, the server sees it as 127.0.0.1(a.k.a localhost), because everyone would be connecting from the same adress, there would not be a way to tell if a user is using multible accounts and worst of all, because you could not ban an ip, anyone could just come, spam the forum until an admin bans the account, than they could create a new one and repeat the spaming.
Making a tor hidden service for sinister.ly is a horible idea.

And there's this quote from @Oni

Spoiler:
I personally distrust TOR.

This ^^^

Given this board can be accessed via Tor without Issues, a .onion link will not serve any real benefits.
