Oculus Rift - Real Virtual Reality Gaming

I was on a thread discussing the Xbox 720 some time ago, and I brought up the fact that I'd like to see virtual reality gaming at some point in my life time. So I started looking, and I found the Oculus Rift. I'll let the video do the rest of the talking Tongue

There's a PC Game that comes out soon called "HAWKEN" which uses this gaming system. I participated in their first open beta and it was really good. I can't wait for it.

The only thing I don't like about it is the price tag of $350. $200 would be much better in my opinion. However, this is a one of a kind device, and there's no alternative, so I suppose they can charge whatever they want.

dude that looks sweet! I hope they more for other types of gaming. I would love to see hacking on a virtual game.

My dream is that someday it will really be a "virtual world", where you can run, and do whatever else, all with the power of your mind. Until then, this seems like a pretty good alternative Tongue

Most likely in a virtual world their will be servers. Different servers will have different features such as super speed and jump like mentioned earlier. Hacking the normal servers would be so cool. I imagine it like Club Penguin.
