I think this is rather stupid of North Korea to be quite honest. As Harvey M. has said, Jong-Un is only doing this to satisfy his ego. I think personally North Korea are relying on their alias but their alias will soon detach from them.

I agree and disagree on that.
I agree to the fact that his doing this to satisfy his ego, and ofcourse so his (dead) father can be proud at him (oh boy).
But I disagree to the fact that their allies will detach from them. They do not really have any allies, but they do have strong diplomatic relationships with China and Russia. These 2 countries are very important;

China is a big country and can supply them with goods, or even stop delivering goods to other countries than North Korea such as the US, or Europe.

Russia is very important, and maybe even called dangerous, since they are one of the biggest arms producers.

I don't think he will do it. He's just jealous how the US, in my opinion, is stronger than North Korea. He just wants to attack a bigger, "foe," so he can look tougher.

If NK launched a missile over to the US, it wouldn't go far. It may destroy other countries such as SK and Japan, but I believe the US are safe.

Here's a good question to ask. If NK can't even get a satellite into space, how can they launch a missile across the world?
