No Tech Month #1
So that's it. I'm sick and tired of hours being wasted whilst I get fed false hope and bullshit from people. I'm having a tech free month.

So January of 2014, I'm going to close my Facebook and Twitter account. Lock my phone and give it to my mother to hide, and get her to change my Computer password.

It's time that I live in the now, the real world. I'm going to get outside, experience REAL people and entertainment. Instead of sitting at a machine all day talking to some girl whose going to mug me off at the end of it, that bitch can find me in real life. I'll have time to do real daily chores and EXIST in the present moment.

So, I shall not be leaving footprints next January.

This video kind of supports my argument.

What're your thoughts on this Sinisterly? And will you be taking part?

I personally won't be taking part in this. People in real life are mean and I'd prefer not to be involved with that. If you don't look super hot and you don't have a six pack, people will just be rude to you because of it, and if you're a girl, people will be rude to you if you don't use DD bras or are the size of a pencil. Behind a computer, if someone talks shit to me, I can easily leave the Skype call and never talk to them again, in real life you can't simply walk away like that. Just my point of view, good luck with real life Lux.

I completely agree with what you're saying. And that's how I've lived my life for 3 years since I was 13. And I'm finally sick of it.

I don't care if someone is going to beat me up, abuse me, call me names or whatever. Atleast I'LL be experiencing it, not just reading 1's and 0's from a monitor. I want to be able to talk to somone and look into their eyes, perceive their emotions, have a connection. I just want to live how humans have for the past 2,000 or so years. In the real world.

If technology didn't exist, my life would be drastically different. I don't see a point in walking away from it, especially since I require it to do a large portion of my work in university. Maybe you'll enjoy it, but I know I wouldn't.

I understand it'll vary per person. But when you discuss your life Oni, you still have a physically aspect to it. You're at university which requires you to interact, and you're always surrounded by people in the flesh due to room-mates.

But the thing is, as I explained to Jiggly, I don't want to have an internet life with a real one on the side. I want a real life with the internet on the side.

I think you should just learn to balance it more and live one life together. There's no need to separate them. The balance that I prefer, might be a balance you're uncomfortable with. However, in today's world, you're going to need technology. This is especially true if you want to become a digital artist.

I know this is true. But I want to be able to separate myself from the digital communication to stop distraction. This way I can live my life for a while and build a greater visual library. It's my 'Internet gap year'. Well, a month.

I remember having a thought like this, then my entire world started revolving around my iPhone. Business, work, girlfriend, etc.
