tl;dr, I'm no longer staff as I can't meet the activity requirements at this time.


Hi There,

As some may have noticed, I'm no longer staff. I decided I should probably post about this now as to avoid the rumor mill running rampant.

The main issue and reason I'm no longer staff relates to activity. Unfortunately I'm too busy right now to be able to meet the minimum activity requirement recently imposed for staff members. @oni and I spoke about this earlier and I ultimately decided that I would be unable to meet the minimum. I've been told I'm welcome back as staff at any point my schedule allows.

Looking forward, my schedule is very busy for the next several months. I have very large projects in my professional life that are approaching their deadline, and I have a lot of work to do to hit the deadline. In my personal life, I'm approaching spring season soon, which means I'll have a lot of work to do preparing my garden, my chicken coop, raising new baby chicks and ducklings, and hopefully building a goat shed in the near future so I can have goats.

It was an honor to serve you all as a staff member. I'm sad to no longer have the role, but take comfort in knowing I can return when life events allow.

This is certainly not goodbye. I will still be around, just at my lower capacity. I will also continue to push for the growth of the Heuristic group.

Haven't really been here long but while I was lurking you really did seem to hold a presence here. Hope to see you come back to the staff team and possibly one day I'll get to meet you properly.
