As there probably won't be any more physical disks it'll just be a hard drive full of games, and I'm sure some geezer would come up with a way to copy your games to your friends hard drive.

This.

By the time these systems come out they will most likely have lots of cloud options for buying and storing video games. So it will most likely not have to do with disks but with cloud stored games.

I don't see how that's going to be possible. It would ruin the gaming economy and be devastating to companies like Netflix and Blockbuster.
Don't talk about it, be about it.

I think that some guy from Sony already announced that used games will still be avaiable on the PS4, I am not sure about it tho.
And yeah those big companies just want to have a big share of bucks and don't really care about the overall gaming experience, therefore they don't care if we can't have our old cool games back.

I hope they don't. This will piss alot of their customers off. I can see Sony doing this, but not Microsoft.

This will also decrease sales and profit from companies such as Gamestop. It is in their best interest to NOT do this.

Sony have confirmed that used games will work on your console, no news has been heard from Microsoft as of yet. However if you read my older post within this thread, you would've know. That both companies are introducing cloud gaming, which will lower the need for disks! The cloud games will most likely only work on 3 activated ps3's which is how it works at the moment.
