For every activated account that you refer you get 5-10 NSP. To help avoid people making fake accounts, aside from it being already against the rules, you can make it so that you get the NSP once the new user makes a thread and a post or something.

An activated account, may not necessarily be an "active" account.

A user may register, post a thread and then never hear from them again. A probable solution to this could be after ex-amount of posts (example 20), you then earn the NSP. That said, It can also complicate the points system.

Personally, I prefer It as Is, but that's just me.
