This new piece of malware is designed to check what is your hardware of your machine, are you running on a VM & what antivirus you're running.

Nothing new, and It doesn't take a piece of malware to achieve the above.

Hardware leaks, Cross-Browser fingerprinting on an OS & hardware level and Ultra sonic cross-device tracking can also Identify software and hardware components and a lot more. To mention a few:

* CPU- architecture, number of cores, threads, make, model and manufacturer.
* GPU- bits, pixels, shaders, make, model, manufacturer.
* Sound card- detected by sound waves, the make, model, manufacturer.
* Software- build & version number, architecture and type.
* Laptop- whether It's plugged In and (If applicable) the duration remaining until fully charged, or running on battery.
And heaps more that's beyond the scope of this post.
