I do like the new userbars, but I won't go to the extent of claiming they are better than the older ones.

Also, I'd rather we keep our custom userbars as they are now instead of changing them.

Nope they all have. I think the new ones look tidier as the old ones were way to basic and had a bad template. I also presume you will need to change your userbar soon.

Not sure yet but probably as it will look better if it was built off the new template so it doesn't look out of place.

That's incorrect. Every custom usergroup has it's own icon, separate from the forum default. Hence it being a CUSTOM usergroup...

Well IMO it makes the forum look messy and unprofessional. HF makes all the groups use the same template as there icons so it looks like there all part of the set.

No? If you look at their show groups page, you will easily see multiple groups that use different bars not following the "template". Some groups just choose to follow the template.

And I also think that that's a good way to keep your site looking clean and professional. Xanii, the group is still custom ?? They have their own names, icons and owners...
