New PCIe LCI 2TB SSD :O #1
Just seen this yt video, look at the ssd capacity and to the reading speed of it! It's freaking amazing...

I want one, right now!

I have a samsung 840 120gb ssd and 1tb hdd yet, I'd love all my documents on a ssd Biggrin

Uhm, yea, we still have a ways to go before we have Petabytes. A Petabyte is 1024 Gigabytes, and I have yet to see a drive go past 15 Gigabytes.

Anyways, I really wish I could have gone to CES, a bunch of cool new technology has been announced, like Razer's 'Christine' (Think that is what is was called).

You mean 1024 terabytes. 1024 gigabytes is a terabyte.

Adorapuff is right... 1 Petabyte is 1024 Terabytes, that's 1048576 Gigabytes...

1980 was the very first GB drive, and it was ~120 kg/GB and 50k USD/GB.

2007 was the very first TB drive.

PB drives are by no means going to be soon, but it is reasonable to expect them in our lifetimes.

5 more years and we'll have it xD I'm pretty sure, it's a must since games are getting bigger in size our drives will have to be bigger to handle them
