The lower back pain issue, well that could be a good reason to change tho, since it's irreversible. Office jobs are usually boring, but they don't put that much strain on your body, except the sitting I guess, which is good for your future health.

And seeing, on how much you could potentially earn, I think it was definitely worth the try. I wish you all the best and luck with your new occupation!

Thanks for the kind words, appreciated!

A huge congratulations, you definitely deserve It. Personally In terms of selecting a carrier, I wouldn't go with anyone else. Vodafone Is trash and Optus follows close by. What's of benefit to you, Is "job security". I cannot see Telstra folding anytime soon.
Congrats again.
You're not wrong, I'm currently with Vodafone and hate it so much Sad I'll be swapping to Telstra now though because I get benefits Tongue

That's a crazy recruitment process, though, I'd never make it through that.
I personally thought the recruit process was excessive, but then again they can't be hiring idiots.

Your turnaround time for leaving your previous job and joining this one is amazing, and I'm glad you had the ability to jump and take that risk.

Arghh, you would put this in serious discussion. Other than that, congrats bud. I can only imagine how exciting that is. There's nothing more intense and grueling than the tech interview processes, though. Lord have mercy.

I had one of many bad experiences with Vodafone, and that was enough to switch carriers.

When the Three network (3 Mobile) migrated to Vodafone, they (Vodafone) couldn't even activate my SIM. I literally spent half a day on the phone, transferred from one representative to another to no avail. In the end, I told Vodafone where to stick their pathetic service and went with another carrier.

I've got lower back issues too and that alone would force me to change jobs just because I know how excruciating it can be at times. Congratulations on the new job though, sounds like once you get the hang of being a salesman you'll be rolling in the cash.

Did they at least grant you some extra data or something?? Half a day on the phone with vodafone reps doesn't sound too fun.

After I told them I was signing up with another carrier, they offered the next 2 months usage free of all costs. I said "How can you possibly offer your services when you cannot activate my SIM card?". I'm still at a loss as to how such a simplistic procedure could not be executed.

I said I never want to hear their name, let alone remain connected. I repeatedly requested termination of my account and they finally did just that.

You know how I am with my anonymity, I don't disclose that Info on a public board.

Let's just say It's a lot better than Vodafone- both cost and coverage.
