So, I had a fun day. My phone got swiped by a friend right before class and I tried cracking the password. The result:

The grand total was 617 failed attempts..
The moral of this torture: No matter how trustworthy they seem, friends are always the worst trolls.

Eh, it's the end of the year and we had supplies all day so I didn't get caught xD
This has actually happened to me bofore but this was by far the worst of it

Thats nothing. I had Windows phone back in 2005ish. A friend swiped my phone from me while i was working one day. And he must have had it for hours. Because he gave it back to me, and it had like an hour and a half on the countdown.

What happens, is every time you enter the passcode incorrectly, it made you wait +30seconds. so the timer kept increasing exponentially. And i found out that if you let the screen turn off - it reset the last countdown. So I had to spend like over an hour making sure the backlight on my phone didnt go off LOL. and only then could i enter the correct password.

Pain in the fucking ass.

Sucks once girl took my phone swapped all contacts names and changed pin. Had to beg her to tell me the Pin code.

I once got a hold of a friends iPhone when you could use the camera directly from the lock screen (not sure if this is still a thing), Apple if your reading it's a very bad idea. Needless to say there where some pretty strange photos on there afterwards and much more fun than trying to brute force the pin.
