Need some Ideas 02-05-2019, 02:19 PM

So I have an old Maxtor Onetouch III external hard-drive laying around and want to do something cool with it.
I've decided I want to turn it into a hidden safe and/or storage.
I've gotten it taken apart down to the hard drive itself, but not sure how to open it now. Videos not working so far.
Anyways, what's a good way I can go about this? What I mean is, how should I "modify" the whole thing to be most efficiently used as said safe/storage?
Example:
Making a side / panel of the enclosure a slide open lid or w/e you wanna call it. Like only attaching 1 corner of it to the enclosure so it rotates.
Anything else that might be useful or helpful to put into it.
Stuff like this.
