I use linux mint and have tried almost 20 different distros. I prefer the lightweight operating system mint offers, I like that almost everything is open sourced. I like the freedom you have to customize almost everything. Your not supporting a major corporation who sells your information to advertisers. Its simple. Why does someone prefer one car maker over the other? one brand of TV over the other? Its preference. I have been using linux only for the past 7 years now. Haven't touched a windows PC since minus my work PC since.
