Need help with a weird mouse problem. #1
I dont know if this is the right place to post it, but I will post it anyways.

I am having a very weird problem with my mouse. All of a sudden, it stopped working properly, I right click and mouse recognizes left click, and viceversa... It does random clicks, sometimes it works, sometimes not. Sometines it work on certain programs, sometimes not. I cant even click on the windows taskbar...
I tried to delete drivers and install them again, nothing.
I run malwarebytes, showed some trojans & malware, I removed them, nothing.
Tried on different USB ports, nothing.
Tried a program to uninstall USB drivers, nothing. (USBDeview)
Tried searching & deleting all entries on regedit with the name of my mouse, nothing.
Tried puting the mouse on another PC with ubuntu, it is working fine there. (I still ned to try on another Windows)
Tried another mouse, the other mouse is working fine.

My specs:
- OS: Windows 10 Pro N 64bits
- Mouse: The G Lab Kult#400
- Motherboard: ASUS Prime B350 Plus

I hope anyone here can help me out or at least give me some ideas of what could it be. I dont want to reinstall whole windows, that is my very last option.

Well, It's obviously not an Issue with the mouse.

If you have restore points available, hit a System Restore back to the date of when everything was functioning correctly.

I agree with that, but then how is it possible that other mouse is working just fine? A virus that only affects 1 specific mouse? Never seen such thing like that but its what I think...

Sadly I dont have any backups... I will keep trying for some time more and if I dont get to solve it, I will have to reinstall Win.

It may well be a compatibility Issue/configuration change on the OS, that has ultimately affected the functionality of the mouse.

Windows does create restore points automatically every so often, but tends to fail at the best of times. Also, If your system Is not active (shutdown/hibernated/sleep) they will not be created. As such, It's good practice to periodically create them yourself.

I think a clean Installation of Windows Is the way to go. If you're organized, you'll be up and running within 90 minutes- Inclusive of drivers and applications Installed.

My Windows doesnt do that automatically, I dont know if I disabled it manually or what, but yeah, I will have to make a clean instalation, luckily I got an exclusive SSD just for the OS so I will keep most of the Software and ofc the data without having to move it anywhere else.
Thanks for helping!

You're very welcome.

I'm sure you're fine with the clean Install, but If you need a hand, don't hesitate to ask.
