Step 3: Profit.

Firezilla is bad and you should feel bad.

OT: have you tried restarting the server?

Took me one Google search to find the answer.

What should I use instead then...

I use filezilla with no problems, it seems like you've got a problem with your FTP on the server you're trying to connect to, to double check use an alternative client or use the CLI to check.

I realize your Issue Is solved, but for future reference (when not a server Issue), I'll state the obvious by checking whether your Firewall Is blocking any connections.

I'm not saying It was the case with you, but sometimes the most simplistic of things can easily be overlooked.

Would you mind elaborating on why you think the #1 ranked FTP software is bad?

Issue is not solved. I mean I can't connect to some servers I get this error and I can connect to different ones so that's confusing..
So I can't connect to the one I need....

How to I check in firewall btw?

Try reconfiguring windows firewall to allow FileZilla to do more stuff. That's usually the problem.

I don't know why this surprises me...
