Need help regarding torrentz downloading

The university internet connection I use, does not permit downloading files over 10 MB, has blocked many sites and does not allow torrentz downloading. However, I use ultrasurf and have been able to open blocked sites and overcome the 10 MB download limit. But, I cannot download torrents at all. Now, since torrific.com has stopped its services, there's no way to download them directly too. Could anyone please suggest a way to download torrents??

Probably the port is blocked. And I guess you don't have the access to open it Biggrin

My suggestion would probably be a paid virtual private network.
As-well as using kat.ph a very good torrenting site. (although I do not condone nor does the site condone any downloading of copyrighted material)

Can this type downloading be done using tor browser(anonymously)?

Well I don't know about tor but with like any virtual private network it should work.

If I recall correctly, opera (browser) has inbuilt torrent downloader. Try using opera.

Ok... Lemme check it out with opera browser.... But I dont think it will work in that way... I'll try it though.
