Code:C:\Documents and Settings\User>echo a | clip 'clip' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
As @bitm0de said, Batch core and out of the box utilities have changed drastically since XP. On that note, XP support was discontinued over two years ago, so no wonder it's not up to snuff
Yeah but they added support for XP in powershell and it runs perfectly
Yeah, definitely not Powershell 3.0 or 4.0 though, which are still very old versions of Powershell just FYI. Running "perfectly" != same feature set. Powershell 4.0 requires .NET 4.5 as a minimum which isn't supported by XP. Powershell 5 is out too, and how could XP even possibly support this if it doesn't even support v3.0?
'choice' doesn't exist in XP either for batch.
Quote:Choice.exe is a standard command in Windows 2003, Vista and Windows 7 (for XP you can use the early resource kit versions).
^ If you really wanted this to work, download or create a similar program and add it to your system32 folder or in a path added to %PATH%.
