Nasa found a planet that they say is in a "habitable zone" it has a sun in just the right place to sustain life and they believe that there is an atmosphere.

Now watch if this planet is habitable and there is some form of life on there Nasa is going to most likely attempt to make technology to reach it which capable technology is already in the works for anyway and before you know not only Earth will be ruined by humans but this new planet will be too.

I mean it is interesting stuff but we were given earth this is our planet and it is up to us to keep it habitable Nasa should be putting the money into something more important like research and technology to help our planet.

Your last paragraph is somewhat childish. Earth won't sustain humans forever, and there's nothing we can do to change that. The earth has unrenewable resources that we use in our every day lives which will be gone in the near future. Furthermore, our atmosphere is polluted as fuck and desertification in Africa as well as drought in California are increasing exponentially. The only logical thing to do is to find another planet that can sustain humans. We are our own toxin. Humans are the worst parasites.
