Ok simply put, Snitching is WRONG. Just something you do not do!!
Did he drop some one else's name when asked about inforamation? YES
Did he also have pirated stuff on his site, from others besides the ones he told on? YES
Did he do this to save his ass from going to prison, even if it was not the entire reason? YES
But hey, I personally would not snitch to save my own ass or for any other reason, and as long as he didn't snitch on me fuck it it is not my business lol

So if you were facing 5-10 years in prison because of an internet crime you committed, and the police want to cut a deal with you; they want you to find out a few internet people, and gather proof on them that they're involved in cyber crimes and if you do this, you'll walk free.

absolutely not, I was facing 15 years and they offered me a deal. I declined, I just got lucky as fuck and the fingerprints came back as inconclusive... I actually have my paper work from that case still too lol

I have never snitched, I have done my time for any crime I have ever committed and can honestly say it feels good to leave that life behind me.
