My synopsis:
The leaker was stationed as an airman first class at the Otis airbase in Massachusetts. As part of his job, his duties enabled, among other things, access to Special Access Programs ("SAPs") and this included intel briefings at the Top Secret ("TS//SCI") level. These documents, which Teixeira directly transcribed and released copies of the text to his friends, contained information related to the war in Ukraine and were titled "D+370", or over 369 days into the conflict. These were NATO briefings to the Pentagon. They have all but been confirmed by the Pentagon, CISA and State Dept.

Images like this were telling of troop movements on both sides, which were meant only to be seen by the Pentagon, the President and senior Intelligence Community ("IC") officials and contractors.





In the leak itself:

In early April 2023, rumors gradually began to circulate on the Internet that a series of photos of secret information of the US military were leaked on a Discord channel in early March of the same year, mainly about the Russian-Ukrainian war situation. By April 7, this series of pictures was already known. Unfortunately, some of these photos have been deleted by Discord's servers, but the United States has not been able to eliminate the impact of this leak, and the author tried to obtain all the relevant photos I could find, select the relevant parts related to Ukraine, and briefly interpret, analyze and comment on them.

Let's start by talking about the credibility of this article. According to the New York Times, I obtained more than 100 photos of the leaked documents, of which I obtained. From the perspective of the amount of information, the content of this article has a particularly large amount of information, a large amount of which is far beyond the scope of open source intelligence can obtain and collate, and from the perspective of information volume, it is difficult to be forged by a third party (that is, any subject other than the US military intelligence department). As for the possibility that the US military and intelligence services deliberately forged this document and then released it, I think that because it is difficult to imagine that the US military has a motive to do so (as can be seen below, these leaked documents do not discuss particularly sensitive content, such as the Ukrainian campaign counterattack plan, etc.), so I think the possibility is extremely low.

This series of leaked documents appears to consist of at least two parts:
Some are daily newspapers prepared by the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and rated by the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff J2 (Inter-Services Intelligence Department), with different pages graded differently, and some classified as secret // only allowed to U.S. and Five Eyes personnel to access; Some are classified as top secret // access only to U.S. citizens // subject to electronic surveillance order (FISA).

Part of it is a summary of the CIA's Intelligence Daily, rated Top Secret // Signals Intelligence / Signals Intelligence - Gamma // Promoter Restrictions on Document Dissemination // Access Only to U.S. Citizens // Monitored by Electronic Surveillance Order.

The following posts cannot be completely in order, and you can judge by yourself according to the password level and name of the file header.

These 300+ documents were originally seen on Thug Shaker Central, "the server Teixeira is believed to have moderated."

The documents were then transferred, numbering in the dozens this time, to another server known as "WowMao", a popular Minecraft gaming server. Since then, they were released to numerous other sites including the far-right website 4chan.

I first heard about it when on a Twitch stream like a week ago and a random chatter identified the Thug Shaker Central discord as the source after the streamer read a tweet about the stuff getting leaked in a Minecraft discord server. Weird shit has always spread around the internet but it's a crazy age where world news is being made by classified documents dropped in random Discord servers leaking out.

This whole saga has been insane to follow since it began. I first heard about it when on a Twitch stream like a week ago and a random chatter identified the Thug Shaker Central discord as the source after the streamer read a tweet about the stuff getting leaked in a Minecraft discord server. Weird shit has always spread around the internet but it's a crazy age where world news is being made by classified documents dropped in random Discord servers leaking out.

It's crazy how far Discord users will get SO mad over an argument about politics or games, that they actually upload a bunch of documents to win an argument.



That said, here's the path the leaks took, that we know of. It looks like the Donbas Devushka (sp) server was raided, and the Thug Shaker Central server has gone back to its usual antics. The leaks are still in a Google Drive somewhere, but they only number in the dozens, so it's not the original batch. The original files have been nuked from orbit by the Dept of State and Homeland. By now, it's not likely to ever find the original files in their entirety (that haven't been edited by some Russian propaganda firm).
