AnonSec members have allegedly released 276 GB of sensitive data which includes 600+ video feeds from the aircraft and weather radars. 2.000+ flight logs and credentials of 2.000+ NASA employees, they all include e-mail addresses and contact numbers. 

How did they do it?
After purchasing an initial foothold in 2013 from a hacker with knowledge of the NASA servers. AnonSec claimed to have pentested the NASA network to figure out how many systems are penetrable. 
They bruteforced the admin's SSH password which took less than 1 second due to the weak password policy. The group gained more access which allowed AnonSec to get more login information. 

After all, hackers have attempted to crash a $222.7 million US dollars drone into the Pacific Ocean.

They did. I confirmed it with my source with in anonsec. Ill be posting the interview today or tomorrow. with there approval. reguardless if you belive me or not ill have it posted as soon as I can.

Well it's not a big surprise. The security there sucks ass! Nothing is up to date, systems not patched, 2 years ago there was a XSS vulnerability in one of there pages.
