It looks awesome Jig, I would say that the ghost just needs a little more blending into the picture. Maybe shrink it and make it pop out of a window? No, in that tower bell thingy!

That had actually crossed my mind about the further blending - I've made another version with me (ghost) being more blended but I'm not too sure which looks better.

I like the idea of doing ones at windows etc. I might make more versions and see what people think.
