My first Visual Basic App - Pay Per Annum Calculator #1
So a few months back I got a tutorial series on Visual Basic and spent a few hours learning it, and made this as my first application. It's a calculator that lets you know your yearly salary based on your wage, hours, days and weeks worked, and then calculates your profit if you choose based on your yearly expenses.

It's pretty basic, but still, it was my first app.

If anyone wants the program links are below.

I couldn't bring myself to remove the hood classic above, enjoy it as a time capsule.

Awesome!
You should do a bit of research and work out the amount of tax we get in the UK or in the US for every price range.
An example would be like 10% tax in UK for 20k or below or 40% tax for 70k or above a year. (Rough guesses for % btw)
Great tool though.

Yeah, I thought about doing that but at the time that I made it, that was kinda outside of my knowledge since I still only had a basic understanding of VB at the time. I could probably do that now but I don't really like to revisit old programs when I can just make far superior ones in the future.

Cool. Smile My school was retarded when it came to ICT. Our lessons never got more advanced than learning Word and Powerpoint. I remember my teacher freaking out on me because I finished the entire year's lessons (around 30 45 minute tasks on the website for us to complete in MS Office software) in the first 2 lessons of the year. Go over the work for around a 10th of each lesson, since my teacher didn't want to write up more work so she would say really ridiculous things about each of them despite them being done exactly as they were supposed to be, and spent the rest of the time talking to friends, most of whom were also either finished or near the end of all the tasks lol.

Wow, what a bad teacher. She should at least let you play some games or browse sinisterly, Instead of wasting your time.
