Do you even think before you post or is that an impossibility for you?

"My roommate's bike has (quick release) which means you can literally detach the bike with a lever from the frame in about 10 seconds or less. "

And 'your roomate' just left a $1800 bike there? What a fucking idiot.
Do you know what a "lock" is?

Why do you think it's the victim's fault? (Regardless of if he locked it, because he did.)

You're channeling the negativity to the person (victim) instead of the thief (perpetrator). If I were to extrapolate, I'd go as far as assuming you would justify theft with (it wasn't secured well enough).

Essentially, you're what's wrong with the world.

I just think 'he''s extremely naive like I said earlier. You wanted an explanation so there you have it.

Lol
Well, thank you for your very intelligent explanation. I should've thought of it, but I guess I don't have the genius capacity like you for such powerful reasoning.

Well, I do not like thieves, scammers or anything that sort so if you're gonna talk outta your ass I'll just ignore it. It's another reason why I dislike you.

It sucks that your roommate's bike got stolen. Maybe send the video around to people you know and see if they recognize the face. Another option would be to involve the police. I'm not sure if there is much you are able to do but I hope your roommate ends up getting to recover his/her bike Smile

Whilst that's a good option and I certainly agree, the police don't really care about mediocre thefts of this nature.

If It's one of their own (a police coworker or friend), they'd take a few extra steps In catching the thief. I can't speak for all police In all localities, but In my country, they simply turn a blind eye.
