I will try even if I think it won't work, Mac Updates always breaks compatibilities with old apps.
Thanks anyway.
If you don’t mind me asking, what is the purpose for changing your MAC address?
Increase my online privacy; even though I haven't truly discovered yet how can they see my MAC address.

Not to dissuade you, but generally your hardware (adapter, etc.) MAC address will be hidden unless they are on your local network.

Simply put, your device connects to your router, and It's your "router's MAC address" that takes over. From there, your router communicates with your ISP's servers, hence It's "their MAC address that's visible". From this point forward, It's your ISP's MAC address that may be disclosed to every website you visit.

Oh, I didn't know that, thank you.
That's why I will always use forums.

If you can access the admin part of the device to add the MAC address, you could connect said device. but likely you will be locked out, so you sniff the packets coming and going to said device to identify connected devices MAC address, then you change yours to match it or make variations of it to attept to sneak your device in. Just one poor example or my attempt to example. This Is In fact a very good example on how to circumvent MAC address filtering and for the most part, Is very effective.
