So I will do my best to keep this short and to the point so bare with me.

Background Knowledge

My dads friend is staying with us as he lost his job and needs a place to stay. We fixed up our garage and now it is like a guest room. He currently has a German Shepard, it's one of those police drug sniffing dogs. Now besides that I have 4 small dogs about half the size of a normal cat. Now our dogs hate anyone that is not my dad, mom, sister, and myself. They also can not stand other dogs.

Incident

My dads friend took his dog for a walk and in the mean time my dogs were outside in the backyard doing this business. My dads friend came back from walking the dog and decided to let his dog in our backyard without checking to see if our dogs were back there. When the dog went out our 4 dogs decided to gang jump the German Shepard, in the process our oldest dog (who is the dad to two of the smaller dogs) got bit by the dog. He ended up getting cut pretty bad and we had to take him to the vet. He now has 4 staples in his side and we have to give me like 4 medications.

And that's a shame that the eldest is the one that got injured, but it's not hard to understand why it happened.

Yeah I don't blame my dads friends dog, he was just feeling threatened by 4 dogs chirping at his face. I'm just glad it wasn't my dog mama as she is like the size of a water bottle.

Damn, that would be terrible. But I think you would need to find a way to get them to cope with each other, that's the only way that you'd be able to not have to worry about a dog getting brutally injured.

There is no way they will ever get along. We always keep them separated, it's just a mistake was made and shit happened.

Mad at the owner not the dog. The dog was just protecting itself from them. Also my dog was protecting the baby as it was yelping.

I give you much respect for not blaming or being upset at the German Sheppard. Sometimes people forget that they are just animals and will act like animals if they feel threatened. Sorry to hear about your dog but at least it wasn't more serious.
